Recipe: Avocado “Crema” with Blue Cheese



IMG_0141Looking for a delicious sauce for dipping? Try this easy to make sauce with simple ingredients, ready in just minutes. Use a blender or food processor to get the super-creamy consistency. I used the smoothie cup and blade attachment from my all-in-one kitchen appliance to whip this together.

Gluten Free Avocado “Crema” with Blue Cheese

Total Time: 10 minutes

Yield: About 3/4 Cup

Gluten Free Avocado “Crema” with Blue Cheese

Serve with anything that pairs well with guacamole, or serve with Beurre-acha Shrimp. Always double check your ingredients for Gluten Free status before using!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1/2 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons Blue Cheese
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Store in the fridge, covered for about a day.
